Depending on your operating system, monitor, display and graphics board settings, Health Profiles may load in a full window mode with a border as shown below. You can work in a full window or you may choose to work in a scaled window.

Working Comfortably

Finding the size window which affords you the right amount of visibility and working comfort is important. The placement of windows vary depending on your monitor size and your selected display settings. These are found in your Control Panel in Windows. However, you can manually adjust the window settings to fit your needs by adjusting the sides of the window.

For example, when adding data to the people file, you may see that the General Information window appears cramped in the Main Window like the image below. You can adjust the width of the Main Window.

Using the double arrow* (ó) on the sides of the main window will adjust the width of the window and you can make your working area look more like below. You can move the location of an entire window by holding the left mouse key in the blue title bar and moving the window to a desired position. As you can see below, the General Information window is now centered in the Main Window.

*As you move the mouse over the edge of a window, a double arrow (ó) will appear indicating you can depress the left mouse key and move the border to change the window's dimension. The border will change appearance as it is being moved. Once you release the left mouse key, the border will stay in its new position. You can adjust the borders and window's size until you are happy.
