Faxing Health Information from Health Profiles
| 1. | Make sure you have the person's fax number. You cannot fax something to someone unless they have a fax machine or computer with fax ability to receive your fax.
| 2. | Start Health Profiles. At the main menu, choose File, then choose Printer setup. Choose the fax you have installed as the "printer". Click OK and exit. Now everything you print will be sent as a fax until you reset the printer to its original setting after you have completed your faxing.
| 3. | Choose which information from Health Profiles you are going to fax. For our example, let's say you are going to fax your blood pressure readings. So choose People, select your record, and click on Change.
| 4. | Choose Tab 9) Blood Pressure Monitoring, and then click Print BP Log for Doctor. The log will be printed, and displayed in Print Preview. Click Help on Print Preview for more detail.
| 5. | If you do not want to send the entire log, choose File, then choose Pages to Print and select the page or pages you wish to send.
| 6. | Choose the Print button, and it will call the Windows Faxing wizard. Follow the on screen prompts, and be sure to include a cover page with the fax. The fax modem will dial and send your fax. If you need help on using the Window Faxing Wizard, refer to your Window's help.
| 7. | You may also print a paper copy of the same report you sent, by simply changing the printer back to your paper printer, and re-printing the report.
